Andre D. Wrice
“… And how shall they hear without a preacher and how shall they hear
unless they be sent? So then, faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the
Word of God.”
Rom 10:15a, 17.
Deacon Andre Wrice heard the voice of the Lord saying: “Whom shall I
send, and who will go for us?” He answered the call of God to preach the
Gospel and is very grateful to God for all that He has done for him and
his family and desires to continue to fulfill and do God’s will.
After graduating from Northeast High School in 1983, he enlisted in the
United States Navy where he served in various shore and sea duty
commands around the world. He served on active duty with dedication and
loyalty for 22 years and retired in September 2005.
Presently, Deacon Wrice is a member of First Baptist Church Berkley,
where he serves in various ministries including Deacon’s Ministry,
Discipleship teacher in the Sunday School Dept, Usher, Recovery
Ministry, Cyclist for Christ, FiBAM, and a volunteer for Norfolk
Emergency Shelter Team (NEST).
Deacon Wrice, a native of Macon, Georgia, is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Jesse Wrice. He currently resides in Virginia Beach, Virginia, with his
wife Robin. They have five children, Sean, Andre, Rondell, Bria and
Keylia.

Evangelist
Will T. Crawley
“The LORD came and stood there, calling as at the other times, “Samuel!”
Samuel!” Then Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant is listening.” (I
Sam. 3:10)
Not unlike Samuel, Evangelist William Crawley also heard the still voice
of the LORD calling him to service. Having answered the call to preach
the Gospel, Evangelist Crawley is thankful for the honor and privilege
of being used as a vessel purposed to fulfill God’s will.
Upon graduating from Central High School in 1990, he enlisted in the
United States Navy where he served for several years. He has worked
within the educational and human services field for over ten years and
is currently employed within the Virginia Beach Department of Human
Services.
Presently, Evangelist Crawley serves as the Youth Ministry Coordinator
along with his lovely wife, Yvette. He also serves in various other
ministries including, Recovery Ministry, Men’s Ministry, and a volunteer
for Norfolk Emergency Shelter Team (NEST).
Evangelist Crawley, a native of Kenbridge, Virginia, is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Edward Crawley. He currently resides in Chesapeake, Virginia,
with his wife Yvette, and their two children, Javien and Janae.

Robin N. Wrice
“See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear
down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant." Jeremiah 1:10 (NIV)
Robin is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph and Carol Morgan of
Bogalusa, Louisiana. She was very active in her home church during her
younger years at St. Paul A.M.E. church, serving in the choir, Sunday
School and the Young People’s Department. After graduating from high
school, she attended Louisiana State University for two years, later
receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree from Southeastern Louisiana
University in Hammond, Louisiana. After joining the U. S. Navy in 1987,
she enrolled in National University in San Diego, California, while on
active duty, receiving her Master’s of Art in Human Resource Management.
It was in 1996 that she dedicated her life to Christ. Robin retired from
the Navy in August, 2007 after serving 20 years of faithful and
dedicated service.
Robin has been a member of First Baptist Church Berkley (FBCB) since
2003. She is active and serves on the staff of the Usher Board, Praise
Dance Ministry and is a Sunday School teacher. She comes with a passion
to empower and encourage the body of Christ, particularly women and
young girls. She completed a missionary trip to Kenya, Africa in
November 2007 led by her Pastor, Rev. W. D. Tyree, and 8 other team
members, including her husband Andre. She says the experience from Kenya
was “not to be compared with any other, even during her years of travel
in the military.”
She is married to Evangelist Andre D. Wrice. They live in Virginia
Beach, Virginia and have five (5) children.

Rodney M. Avent
MORE THAN CONQUERORS
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love
him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28 (NIV)
Rodney is the son of Mr. Charlie E. Avent of Rocky Mount, North Carolina
and Mrs. Belinda D. Avent of Brentwood, Maryland. Rodney is the 3rd of 4
children. He grew up in the Maryland/DC metro area. As a youth, he spent
time during the summers and holidays in Rocky Mount, NC where he was
baptized at an early age. Shortly after graduating high school, Rodney
enlisted with the U.S. Navy and served his country for eight years.
During his military career, he traveled to many different ports and
cities. He was a part of Operation Desert Shield/Storm serving a brief
pause aboard the USS America as his command supported efforts in Bosnia.
Rodney ended his military career in 1997 and began studies at Tidewater
Community College in pursuit of his R.N. licensure with the vision of
becoming a Nurse Anesthetist. In 2003, Rodney earned an Associate’s
Degree in Nursing from Norfolk State University. He took a position at
Chesapeake General Hospital where he worked in the operating room.
Rodney is currently a Medical Device Sales Representative specializing
in the treatment of the spine.
Rodney has been a member of First Baptist Church, Berkley (FBCB) since
1999. He currently serves in various ministries including One In Christ
(OIC), Men’s ministry, Pastor’s Appreciation Committee, and a volunteer
for Norfolk Emergency Shelter Team (NEST). He completed a missionary
trip to Kenya, Africa in November 2007 with 8 team members led by his
Pastor, Rev. Dr. W. D. Tyree, III.
Rodney resides in Chesapeake, Virginia with his wife Stephanie. They are
the parents of two wonderful children; Armonee S. and Rodney Avent Jr.
